Write for World uses the power of positive and purpose-driven writing to spotlight the struggles and aspirations of marginalized youth. By telling their stories to the world, the organization seeks to inspire action, attract support and foster a sense of national and global solidarity.
Since its inception, Write for World has reached hundreds of children through literacy campaigns, donations of goods to schools, orphanages and school build project, engaged young girls and youth in mentorship and entrepreneurial skills training, supported the youth, particularly the female youth in project communities with economic empowerment tools to enhance livelihoods, created platforms for youth expression through writing and storytelling and built partnerships with local communities to sustain outreach efforts.
Trained over 500 youth in vocational skills across the Volta Region and Oti Region
Supported 20 schools with creative writing and literacy initiatives in Volta and Oti Regions.
Conducted community health outreach programmes reaching more than 5,000 people;
Advocated for youth participation in district governance fora.
Completed a 3-Unit Community Classroom Block at Avetakpo in the Ho-West District of the Volta Region, Ghana
Refurbished a Vocational Training Centre(Centre for Vocation and Trade Project) in Ho Municipality, Volta Region, Ghana.
